Based on member feedback, the CSCJA is pleased to announce enhancements to the Supplemental Health Care Insurance Plan, effective in 2026.
The updated plan will include the following improvements to provide members with greater flexibility and access to care, particularly where public coverage has become more limited,
- Increased physiotherapy coverage, with annual limits rising to $2,000, up from $1,000
- A new paraprofessional benefit of $500 per year
While the plan enhancements result in an estimated 4% increase in premiums, this increase will be fully subsidized using the CSCJA’s Internally Restricted Insurance Stabilization Fund. As a result, participating members will not see any increase in their rates for 2026.
