The CSCJA’s judicial review of the government’s response to the 2024 Quadrennial Commission (QuadComm) report is proceeding. Filed with the Federal Court in December 2025, the application focuses on the government’s failure to meaningfully engage with private sector salary comparator data. Our written briefs have been submitted. The government is due to submit its brief on or before June 12, 2026.
In parallel, early planning is underway for the 2028 QuadComm. The Compensation Committee is reviewing priorities, including proposals for wellness-related improvements as well as exploration of an early or hybrid supernumerary status option. A subcommittee has been formed to examine the supernumerary proposal, including retaining a pension actuary to assess costs.
