“Judging in the Digital Age” is an annual professional development program hosted by the National Judicial Institute in collaboration with the CSCJA. It provides judges with specialized training on the legal, practical, and ethical dimensions of technology in the justice system.
This year’s program will have a substantial focus on artificial intelligence, alongside sessions on digital evidence, cybersecurity, virtual and hybrid courtroom management, and the ethical dimensions of judges’ digital presence. The program is designed specifically for appointed members of the judiciary.
For federally appointed judges, eligible registration, travel, and accommodation expenses may be claimed under the Conference Allowance provisions.
