The International Association of Judges (IAJ) has moved its four Study Commission reports out of restricted delegate distribution and into the public area of its website.
The reports, developed with input from CSCJA’s IAJ delegates, address issues judges and courts face well beyond Canada: self-represented litigants in civil matters, restorative justice in criminal law and procedure, judicial resources and independence, and non-competition and confidentiality rules in a global economy.
This kind of cross-jurisdictional research, produced with direct Canadian input, is one of the more tangible returns on CSCJA’s membership in the IAJ.
